Surfing in California isn't as glamorous as you might think...

Yeah, we all know the image of surfers as rebels thumbing their noses at society and the law...

...that the water along the entire Californian coast is really cold because of a current which comes South from Alaska!

After he's done surfing, this guy's gonna have to soak in a hot bath for a few hours!

Still, you've got to admit that surfing's always interesting...
