The aircraft based in Australia are scheduled to fly 800 hours each year, much of it exercising with the Australian Navy, with the New Zealand Skyhawks doing simulated low-level attacks on Australian ships (useful practise for when New Zealand finally flexes its muscle and really does attack Australia, at some later date I'll explain why this is inevitable). |
As part of the arrangement, New Zealand pays for the first 400 hours of flying time each year, and Australia for the second half! |
